SSA5000A
Fifteen options for the SSA5083A and SSA5085A, and every one of them is a software key against an instrument you already own — there is nothing to fit and nothing to return. They cover the things a spectrum analyser gets bought for one at a time: reaching 26.5 GHz, seeing weak signals, capturing in real time, and running the measurement suites for pulse, phase noise, noise figure, EMI pre-compliance and modulation analysis. This page lists all fifteen — including the five we do not yet stock, so the picture is complete.

Frequency range and sensitivity
Two of these change what the instrument physically reaches. ⚠ SSA5000-F5 turns a 13.6 GHz SSA5083A into a 26.5 GHz SSA5085A by key alone — the hardware is already there. The pre-amplifiers must match your instrument's range: P3 for 13.6 GHz, P5 for 26.5 GHz.

Real-time analysis, bandwidth and data output
The SSA5000A has 25 MHz of analysis bandwidth as standard; SSA5000-B40 takes it to 40 MHz. SSA5000-IQA records raw I/Q to a 1 GByte buffer for post-processing, and SSA5000-IFO brings a 120 MHz IF out on a BNC (40 MHz wide, −13 to +5 dB conversion gain) for an external receiver.

Measurement applications
Guided measurement suites rather than manual cursor work. ⚠ SSA5000-NF also needs the NSD28 noise source driver — the analyser drives the noise source over USB-A to a +28 V BNC, and without that adaptor the measurement cannot run. SSA5000-EMI adds the CISPR 16-1-1 quasi-peak and voltage-average detectors with the 200 Hz / 9 kHz / 120 kHz / 1 MHz filters and EN550xx, GB9254 and FCC Part 15 limit lines.

One-button channel power, ACPR, OBW, C/N, harmonics and TOI instead of manual marker work.

Automated pulse measurement — width, period, duty, rise and fall, overshoot.

Phase-noise measurement with log plot, decade table and spur list.

Noise-figure and gain measurement for amplifiers and converters.
CISPR 16-1-1 filter bandwidths, a quasi-peak detector and limit lines for pre-compliance EMI work.
Modulation analysis
SSA5000-AMA covers AM, FM and PM with rate and deviation accuracy figures. SSA5000-DMA covers ASK, FSK, MSK, PSK, DPSK and QAM to 256 with EVM, constellation and eye views. SSA5000-BT covers Bluetooth Low Energy, Basic Rate and Enhanced Data Rate across 2.4020 to 2.4835 GHz.

AM, FM and PM demodulation with depth, deviation, rate and SINAD on the recovered audio.

Constellation, eye, EVM and frequency error for ASK, FSK, PSK, MSK and QAM signals.

Bluetooth LE, Basic Rate and Enhanced Data Rate transmitter measurement.
Related hardware and accessories
⚠ The 10M_OCXO_L reference is listed by Siglent as factory installed. If you already own the analyser, ask us before ordering it — it may not be retrofittable. The NSD28 is required by the noise-figure option, and the 2.92 mm adaptor protects the instrument's own RF input connector, which is the expensive part to replace.
