SDG800 Series
An affordable single-channel DDS generator with up to 30 MHz output, a 125 MSa/s sample rate and 14-bit resolution. A complete modulation suite, 46 built-in arbitrary waveforms and a 20 Vpp output make it ideal for education, bench work and basic signal simulation.
Overview
The SDG800 series is Siglent's entry-level, single-channel function/arbitrary waveform generator — a reliable, affordable signal source for everyday bench and teaching work. Built on direct digital synthesis (DDS), it delivers stable, low-distortion signals up to 30 MHz with a 125 MSa/s sample rate and 14-bit vertical resolution.
It outputs sine, square, ramp, pulse and Gaussian-noise waveforms plus 46 built-in arbitrary waveforms, and includes a complete set of modulation functions — AM, DSB-AM, FM, PM, FSK, ASK and PWM — together with sweep and burst, so the modulated waveform can be observed directly. A 20 Vpp output drives most bench loads.
The bundled EasyWave PC software lets you create and store custom 14-bit, 16 kpts arbitrary waveforms by manual or point-by-point drawing, with 10 non-volatile storage slots on the instrument.
The series shares identical performance and differs only in bandwidth: the SDG810 (10 MHz) and SDG830 (30 MHz). The 5 MHz SDG805 is now end of life — please contact us for availability.
As the official Siglent distributor for Europe, we hold the SDG800 in EU stock and back every unit with local warranty, optional ISO/DKD calibration and expert application support.

Core capabilities
DDS waveform generation
Direct digital synthesis at 125 MSa/s with 14-bit resolution produces stable, pure, low-distortion sine, square, ramp, pulse and Gaussian-noise signals, plus 46 built-in arbitrary waveforms (including DC).
Complete modulation, sweep & burst
AM, DSB-AM, FM, PM, FSK, ASK and PWM modulation — observable directly on screen — plus linear/log sweep (1 ms–500 s) and count/infinite/gated burst with internal, external or manual triggering.
Arbitrary editing with EasyWave
Create custom 14-bit, 16 kpts waveforms with the bundled EasyWave software — nine standard shapes plus manual, point-to-point and free-point drawing — and store up to 10 in non-volatile memory.
Friendly, compact design
A 3.5-inch TFT-LCD with on-screen help, built-in storage and USB host/device makes the SDG800 quick to learn — ideal for analog sensors, circuit and IC test, and research & training.
