Siglent SDS2000X HD Series
Four channels of true 12-bit acquisition at 2 GSa/s with up to 200 Mpts of memory, a 10.1" multi-touch display, and built-in tools like Bode plot and power analysis — mixed-signal and waveform-generator ready. 100, 200 or 350 MHz, upgradable to 500 MHz.
See what 8-bit scopes miss
The SDS2000X HD is built around a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter — 16 times the vertical resolution of a conventional 8-bit oscilloscope. Small ripple on a power rail, low-level distortion, and fine detail riding on a large signal all become clearly visible instead of being lost in quantisation noise. A genuinely quiet front end (just 70 µVrms at 500 MHz) and 0.5% DC gain accuracy make those measurements trustworthy.
Behind the screen sits a serious instrument: 2 GSa/s sampling, up to 200 Mpts of memory to capture long events at full resolution, a 100,000 wfm/s capture rate to catch glitches, and a 10.1" capacitive multi-touch display. Add the 16-channel logic option for mixed-signal work or the built-in 25 MHz generator for a complete bench in one box.
Analysis tools built in
Far more than a scope — a measurement workbench for power, control and embedded design.

Bode plot & frequency response
With a compatible generator the SDS2000X HD plots gain and phase versus frequency automatically — ideal for power-supply loop response and filter characterisation, no external software needed.

Power analysis
Dedicated power-analysis software measures switching loss, harmonics, ripple, modulation, slew rate and safe-operating-area — turning the scope into a power-electronics analyser.

Mixed-signal (MSO)
Add the SPL2016 logic probe for 16 digital channels at 500 MSa/s alongside the analog inputs.

Built-in 25 MHz AWG
Optional arbitrary/function generator (125 MSa/s) for stimulus-response testing without a second instrument.
Serial decode
Trigger and decode I²C, SPI, UART, CAN and LIN as standard; CAN FD/XL, FlexRay, I²S, MIL-STD-1553B, SENT, Manchester, ARINC429 and SpaceWire as options.
Deep memory & history
200 Mpts of capture, sequence mode (80,000 segments) and history (80,000 frames) to find rare events.
Three models — choose your bandwidth
Identical 12-bit acquisition, memory, display and features across the series — pick the bandwidth your signals need. The 200 and 350 MHz models upgrade to 500 MHz in software.

Frequently asked questions
What does the “HD” in SDS2000X HD mean?
“HD” refers to the 12-bit ADC. Compared with a standard 8-bit oscilloscope, 12 bits gives 16× the vertical resolution, so you see fine detail and small signals riding on larger ones with far less quantisation noise. The front end is also very quiet — just 70 µVrms at 500 MHz.
What is the difference between the SDS2104X HD, SDS2204X HD and SDS2354X HD?
Only the analog bandwidth: 100 MHz, 200 MHz and 350 MHz respectively. Every other specification — 4 channels, 12-bit, 2 GSa/s, 200 Mpts memory, 10.1" touch display and all software features — is identical. The 200 and 350 MHz models are software-upgradable to 500 MHz.
Is it a mixed-signal oscilloscope (MSO)?
Yes — add the optional SPL2016 16-channel logic probe to view and decode 16 digital channels alongside the 4 analog channels (up to 500 MSa/s, 50 Mpts).
Does it have a built-in waveform generator?
A 25 MHz arbitrary/function waveform generator (125 MSa/s, 16 kpts) is available as a built-in option, turning the scope into a compact bench in one box.
Which serial protocols can it trigger and decode?
I²C, SPI, UART, CAN and LIN are standard. CAN FD, CAN XL, FlexRay, I²S, MIL-STD-1553B, SENT, Manchester, ARINC429 and SpaceWire are available as options.
Can I control it remotely?
Yes. The built-in web server lets you operate the scope from any browser over LAN; it also supports an external mouse and keyboard, full SCPI remote control, and the 10.1" multi-touch screen for direct operation.
