SDL1000X Series
A single-channel programmable DC electronic load rated 150 V / 30 A and up to 300 W. CC/CV/CR/CP plus dynamic mode to 25 kHz, down to 0.1 mV / 0.1 mA readback, with battery, CR-LED and auto-test functions for power, battery and LED-driver development.
Overview
The SDL1000X series is a single-channel programmable DC electronic load with a 3.5-inch TFT-LCD display, a clear user interface and excellent measurement performance. Every model is rated 150 V / 30 A, with maximum power of 200 W (SDL1020X) or 300 W (SDL1030X).
It offers four operating modes — constant current, voltage, resistance and power (CC / CV / CR / CP) — plus a dynamic transient mode up to 25 kHz in CC, with an adjustable current slew rate from 0.001 to 2.5 A/µs and voltage/current measurement up to 500 kHz. The high-resolution models read back down to 0.1 mV / 0.1 mA.
Built-in test routines — battery discharge, CR-LED, OCPT/OPPT auto-test, list and program sequencing, 4-wire remote sense and short-circuit testing — make it ideal for power-supply, battery, charger, LED-driver and automotive-electronics development.
The series comprises four models that differ only in power and readback resolution: SDL1020X / SDL1020X-E (200 W) and SDL1030X / SDL1030X-E (300 W); the "-E" models read back to 1 mV / 1 mA.
As the official Siglent distributor for Europe, we hold the SDL1000X in EU stock and back every unit with local warranty, optional ISO/DKD calibration and expert application support.

List & program sequencing
Build complex load profiles with the list function (up to 100 steps, with per-step set-point, dwell and slew) and automate pass/fail sequences with the program function (up to 50 steps), saved to non-volatile memory.
4-wire sense, protection & analog
4-wire remote sense removes lead-drop error; OVP, OCP, OPP, OTP and reverse-voltage (LRV) protection keep tests safe; and external analog control (0–10 V) plus voltage/current monitoring integrate the load into automated setups.
Everything you need to integrate it
The SDL1000X is built for the automated bench. Standard RS232, USB and LAN interfaces give you full SCPI remote control and a LabVIEW driver out of the box, while the rear panel adds remote sense, external analog programming and voltage/current monitoring.
- Built-in RS232, USB (USBTMC) and LAN — USB-GPIB module optional
- 4-wire SENSE terminals for drop-free measurement at the DUT
- External analog control and 0–10 V voltage / current monitoring
- Free PC software with SCPI command set and LabVIEW driver

Frequently asked questions
Choosing and using the Siglent SDL1000X programmable DC electronic load.
What is a programmable DC electronic load used for?
An electronic load sinks a controlled current, voltage, resistance or power so you can test and characterise power supplies, batteries, chargers, LED drivers and other sources without building dummy loads. The SDL1000X adds dynamic, battery and auto-test functions for development and production.
What is the difference between the SDL1020X, SDL1020X-E, SDL1030X and SDL1030X-E?
All four are single-channel and rated 150 V / 30 A. They differ in power and readback resolution: the SDL1020X / SDL1020X-E are 200 W and the SDL1030X / SDL1030X-E are 300 W; the plain "X" models read back to 0.1 mV / 0.1 mA, while the "-E" models read back to 1 mV / 1 mA.
Which operating modes does the SDL1000X support?
It offers four static modes — constant current, voltage, resistance and power (CC / CV / CR / CP) — plus a dynamic transient mode (continuous, pulsed and toggled) up to 25 kHz in CC, with an adjustable current slew rate of 0.001–2.5 A/µs.
Can it test batteries and LED drivers?
Yes. A dedicated battery-discharge mode stops on voltage, capacity or time (up to 999 Ah / 24 h), and a CR-LED mode adds a breakover-voltage setting to emulate an LED for driver testing. OCPT and OPPT auto-tests validate a DUT's own protection.
How do I control the load remotely?
Every model has built-in RS232, USB (USBTMC) and LAN interfaces with a full SCPI command set, free PC software and a LabVIEW driver. A USB-GPIB module is available as an option. External analog control (0–10 V) is also supported.
Is it available with warranty and calibration in Europe?
Yes. As the official Siglent distributor for Europe (JRSE B.V., Helmond) we ship from EU stock with a 3-year warranty and optional ISO / DKD calibration, backed by local application support.
