One VNA for the whole RF lab

The SNA6000A is built for engineers who characterise RF and microwave components and high-speed digital interconnects: antenna, filter, amplifier and cable/connector designers; signal-integrity and PCB engineers; wireless, radar, satcom and automotive-radar teams; production-test and QA lines; and university RF labs.

With up to 26.5 GHz, 135 dB dynamic range and very low trace noise, it resolves deep filter rejection and isolation with confidence. The 4-port models add differential / mixed-mode S-parameters and TDR for signal integrity, while five sweep types and IF bandwidths to 10 MHz keep production throughput high.

A broad option set turns one instrument into many — time-domain / TDR, spectrum, scalar mixer, pulse and material measurement — and it scales with an SSM5000A switch matrix for multiport test and VDI modules for millimeter-wave. Microwave VNA performance within reach, backed by a 3-year warranty, factory ISO calibration and local European support.

Measurement capabilities

Far more than S-parameters — the SNA6000A is a full measurement platform.

S-parameters & differential

Full 2-/4-port S-parameters plus differential (mixed-mode) parameters, with SOLT/SOLR/TRL and enhanced-response calibration.

Time domain & TDR

Time-domain analysis (SNA6000-TDA) and enhanced TDR (SNA6000-TDR) locate impedance discontinuities and gate out reflections.

Spectrum analysis

Add a built-in spectrum-analysis mode (SNA6000-SA) to check harmonics, spurs and interference without a second instrument.

Mixer & pulse

Scalar mixer measurement (SNA6000-SMM) and pulse measurement (SNA6000-PM) for frequency-converting and pulsed devices.

Material measurement

Characterise dielectric materials with the material-measurement option (SNA6000-MT).

Analysis tools

Impedance conversion, reference-plane movement, limit & ripple test, fixture simulation and adapter removal/insertion built in.

Applications & advanced measurements

From millimeter-wave device test to high-speed signal integrity and multiport production — the SNA6000A scales to the job.

Millimeter-wave

Extend into mmWave with VDI modules

Pair the SNA6000A with frequency-extender modules to take S-parameter measurements far beyond 26.5 GHz into the millimeter-wave bands — for 5G/6G, automotive radar, satcom and emerging high-frequency components, all driven from the same familiar interface.

Multiport test

Scale up with the SSM5000A switch matrix

Combine the VNA with a Siglent SSM5000A switch matrix to measure many ports and devices automatically — expand well beyond 4 ports for module banks, multiport filters and high-throughput production lines, without constant re-cabling.

Time-domain, TDR/TDT & eye diagrams

The enhanced time-domain option (SNA6000-TDR) turns frequency-domain data into impedance vs. distance, eye diagrams and mask tests — locate discontinuities on PCB traces, connectors and cables and validate high-speed links with adjustable differential or single-ended TDR probes.

Pulsed RF

Pulse & mixer measurement

With the pulse-measurement option (SNA6000-PM) you can characterise pulsed devices such as T/R modules and radar amplifiers, with flexible pulse profiles and IF-path gain control. The scalar mixer option (SNA6000-SMM) adds frequency-converting device test for mixers and converters.

Frequently asked questions

Siglent SNA6000A vector network analyzer.

What's the difference between the models?

Choose 2- or 4-port and 13.5 or 26.5 GHz. The 60xx models (e.g. SNA6034A) are the standard versions; the 61xx models (e.g. SNA6134A) add a front-panel jumper interface for direct receiver access and advanced configurations.

Which options can I add?

Time-domain analysis (TDA), enhanced TDR, spectrum analysis (SA), scalar mixer measurement (SMM), pulse measurement (PM), material measurement (MT) and a high-performance reference source (HPR). Most are software options.

What calibration do I need?

Either an SEM5000A electronic calibrator (ECal) for fast one-connection calibration, or a mechanical kit matched to your connector and frequency — N-type up to 18 GHz, 3.5 mm up to 26.5 GHz, plus a waveguide kit. We'll recommend the right one.

Can it do TDR / signal-integrity work?

Yes — with the TDR option and adjustable differential or single-ended TDR probes (ADP-18/26, ASP-18/26) for impedance and signal-integrity measurements to 26.5 GHz.

How is it controlled / connected?

A 12.1-inch touchscreen plus USB and Gigabit LAN, with HDMI/DVI/DP video out and an optional USB-GPIB adapter for ATE integration.

Are calibration certificates available?

Yes. Every unit ships with a factory ISO calibration certificate, and we offer accredited ISO/DKD (DAkkS) calibration and recalibration on request — see our calibration services.
