Frequently asked questions
Siglent accessories.
Which probe do I need for my oscilloscope?
Match the probe bandwidth to your scope and signal: passive voltage probes for general use, active/differential and high-voltage differential probes for power electronics, and current probes for current measurement. For digital buses, add a logic probe (e.g. SLA1016) to enable the MSO option.
What's the difference between mechanical and electronic (ECal) calibration?
Mechanical kits (open/short/load/thru standards) are the reference method and cover specific connectors and frequency ranges. An ECal module (SEM5000A) calibrates the VNA in a single connection — faster and more repeatable for everyday use.
Do you stock RF cables and adapters?
Yes — phase-stable RF test cables (N, SMA, 2.9 mm up to 40 GHz) and a full range of BNC/N/SMA adapters, terminators and T-pieces in cables & connectors.
Can I rack-mount my instrument?
Most benchtop models have a 19-inch rack-mount kit, and handhelds have transit/carrying cases — see carrying cases & rackmounts, or ask us for the kit that fits your model.
What is TekBox equipment?
TekBox supplies EMC test accessories — near-field probes, LISNs, TEM cells, amplifiers and adapter sets — that pair well with Siglent spectrum analyzers for EMC pre-compliance.
