Overview

The SDG2000X series is a dual-channel function/arbitrary waveform generator. With up to 120 MHz bandwidth, a 1.2 GSa/s sample rate and 16-bit vertical resolution, it reconstructs waveforms accurately with low distortion.

Siglent's proprietary TrueArb and EasyPulse technologies solve the weaknesses inherent in traditional DDS generators: TrueArb plays arbitrary waveforms point-by-point without skipping, and EasyPulse produces low-jitter square and pulse waveforms with fine width and rise/fall control. A 20 Vpp output and an 80 dB dynamic range round out a versatile bench instrument.

Three models share identical performance and differ only in bandwidth: the SDG2042X (40 MHz), SDG2082X (80 MHz) and SDG2122X (120 MHz). Each provides a wide range of analog and digital modulation, sweep, burst, a high-precision frequency counter and 196 built-in arbitrary waveforms.

From R&D and education to communications and general signal simulation, the SDG2000X delivers high-fidelity, low-jitter signals from a single dual-channel instrument.

As the official Siglent distributor for Europe, we hold the SDG2000X in EU stock and back every unit with local warranty, optional ISO/DKD calibration and expert application support.

Core capabilities

TrueArb & EasyPulse

Point-by-point arbitrary playback (8 pts–8 Mpts, 1 µSa/s–75 MSa/s) that never skips a point, plus low-jitter square/pulse output with pulse widths down to 16.3 ns and independently adjustable rise/fall edges from 8.4 ns.

Modulation, sweep & burst

High-precision frequency counter

A built-in frequency counter measures frequency, period, positive/negative pulse width and duty cycle over a 0.1 Hz–200 MHz range, with AC, DC and HF-reject coupling.

Arbitrary waveform editing

196 built-in arbitrary waveforms, plus the free EasyWaveX PC software for creating and editing custom waveforms by manual drawing, line, equation or coordinate entry.
