Find your power supply or source

Linear supplies (SPD) give you the lowest noise and ripple and precise low-power output for the bench, education and R&D. Switching supplies (SPS) deliver a wide range of voltage and current with constant-power output and high power density — up to 1500 W per unit. And the SMM3000X source-measure unit sources and measures voltage and current together with fA/nV resolution for component and semiconductor characterisation. When to choose an SMU

The SMM3000X combines a precision source and meter in one four-quadrant instrument — ideal for characterising semiconductors, diodes, LEDs, sensors, solar cells and nano-materials, where you need to source a precise voltage/current and measure the response down to femtoamps.

Scale up — rack & parallel

Build a high-power rack system

Each SPS6000X is a 1U, 19-inch rack-mount supply delivering 1500 W. Connect up to five units of the same model in parallel to expand the output to 7.5 kW for high-power and burn-in testing — all coordinated over the standard LAN/USB interfaces and the embedded web server, with constant-power output and remote sensing for stable delivery at the load.

Built for real-world testing

Capabilities shared across the Siglent power-supply range.

Constant-power output

The SPS switching supplies auto-range voltage and current to keep full power across a wide output window — higher V at low I and higher I at low V.

Low noise & ripple

Linear SPD supplies deliver very low ripple and noise (down to ~600 µV rms on the SPD4000X) for sensitive analog and RF work.

Series, parallel & multi-channel

Combine channels or whole units for more voltage or current — SPS5000X to 3240 W combined, SPS6000X parallel up to five units.

List & slew-rate control

Program voltage/current step sequences (up to 50 steps) and adjustable rise/fall slew rates to profile and protect your DUT.

Protection & remote sense

OVP, OCP, OTP and power-limit protection, plus remote voltage sensing to compensate for lead-resistance drop at the load.

Web & SCPI control

USB & LAN with an embedded web server (no drivers needed) and full SCPI command sets for ATE and automation.

Frequently asked questions

Siglent DC power supplies & source-measure units.

Linear or switching — what's the difference?

Linear supplies (SPD) give the lowest noise and ripple and very precise output, ideal for sensitive analog, RF and lab work, but at lower power. Switching supplies (SPS) are far more power-dense and efficient, with wide-range constant-power output up to 1500 W — best for higher-power and production testing.

What is a Source Measure Unit?

The SMM3000X SMU sources and measures voltage and current simultaneously in all four quadrants, with resolution down to 100 nV and 10 fA. It's used to characterise semiconductors, diodes, LEDs, sensors, solar cells and nano-materials.

Which supply gives the most power?

The SPS6000X delivers 1500 W per unit and can be paralleled up to five units (7.5 kW). The SPS5000X reaches 1080 W per unit, and up to 3240 W when units are combined in series/parallel.

How many channels are available?

From single-channel (SPD1000X, many SPS5000X) to 3-channel (SPD3303, SPS5000X) and 4-channel (SPD4000X). The SMM3000X comes in 1- and 2-channel versions.

Can I control them remotely?

Yes. All current models offer USB and LAN with an embedded web server (no software needed) and SCPI command sets; an optional USB-GPIB adapter is available. List sequencing and analog control support automated test setups.

Are calibration certificates available?

Yes. Every unit ships with a factory ISO calibration certificate, and we offer accredited ISO/DKD (DAkkS) calibration and recalibration on request — see our calibration services.
