SPS5000X Series
A wide-range programmable switching DC power supply family — thirteen models from 40 to 160 V and 180 to 1080 W, in single-, dual- and triple-channel versions. Each supply delivers its full rated power across a wide range of voltage and current combinations (constant-power output), so one instrument covers many operating points. Add series and parallel operation up to 320 V, 270 A and 3240 W, 1 mV / 1 mA resolution, a 50-step list mode, analog control and an embedded web server, and the SPS5000X scales from the teaching bench to automated production test.

Wide-range, constant-power output
Instead of one fixed voltage-times-current rectangle, each SPS5000X delivers its full rated power over a wide range of voltage and current combinations. A single 360 W model, for example, supplies high current at low voltage or high voltage at low current — so one supply covers jobs that would otherwise need several.

Rear panel, programmable & connected
The rear panel carries the remote-control and analog interfaces that make the SPS5000X easy to automate and rack-mount. USB, LAN with an embedded web server and an analog-control interface are standard, with an optional USB-GPIB module.
