SDS2000X HD
The software options for the SDS2000X HD, every one a key for the instrument you already own: three bandwidth upgrades, power analysis, the built-in 25 MHz generator and nine serial protocols on top of the five that come standard — with the logic probe for sixteen digital channels and the hardware the options depend on.

Bandwidth upgrades
BW2T3 and BW2T5 are for the SDS2204X HD, BW3T5 for the SDS2354X HD. ⚠ 500 MHz applies in interleaving mode — one channel of each pair C1/C2 and C3/C4 switched on; with both channels of a pair on, the bandwidth is 350 MHz. The supplied probes are rated 500 MHz. BW2T5 costs the same as BW2T3 and BW3T5 together.
Raises an SDS2204X HD from 200 MHz to 350 MHz on all four channels — by key, no hardware change.
Raises an SDS2204X HD from 200 MHz to 500 MHz in one step — 500 MHz in interleaving mode.
Raises an SDS2354X HD from 350 MHz to 500 MHz in interleaving mode — the top bandwidth of the series.
Analysis and generator
Bode plot, Mask Test, FFT and the measurement suite are standard on the SDS2000X HD. Power analysis needs a high-voltage differential probe and a current probe, deskewed with the DF2001A. The generator key also gives the Bode plot its sweep source.
Power quality, harmonics, inrush, switching loss, ripple, PSRR, efficiency and SOA measurements.
Unlocks the built-in 25 MHz waveform generator — and with it the sweep source for the Bode plot.
Serial trigger & decode
I²C, SPI, UART, CAN and LIN come as standard — no key needed. CAN FD, FlexRay, SENT, I²S and MIL-STD-1553B are trigger and decode. ⚠ CAN XL, ARINC 429, SpaceWire and Manchester are decode only on this series: capture with a normal trigger and the decoder reads the result. MIL-STD-1553B, ARINC 429, SpaceWire and Manchester decode from the analogue channels only; the others also from the SPL2016’s digital channels. Two decoders run at once.
CAN FD trigger and decode, data phase to 10 Mbit/s; trigger on start, remote, ID, ID + data and error.
CAN XL decode in SIC and Fast mode, XL data phase to 20 Mbit/s — decode only.
FlexRay trigger and decode at 2.5, 5 and 10 Mbit/s; trigger on TSS, frame, symbol and errors.
SENT trigger and decode for automotive sensors; trigger on start, slow channel, fast channel and error.
I²S trigger and decode, with left- and right-justified audio formats.
MIL-STD-1553B trigger and decode; trigger on transfer, word, error and timing.
ARINC 429 decode, 12.5 to 100 kbit/s — label, SDI, data and SSM; decode only.
SpaceWire decode from 2 to 400 Mbit/s, as characters or packets — decode only.
Manchester decode, 500 bps to 5 Mbps — decode only, no trigger.
Mixed-signal (MSO)
Sixteen digital channels at 500 MSa/s and 50 Mpts come from the SPL2016 logic probe. Siglent includes the logic-analyser software in the current firmware of the SDS2000X HD, so the probe is all you need; on an older unit, update the firmware first.

The 100 MHz SDS2104X HD is no longer in Siglent’s range. These keys raise the bandwidth of an SDS2104X HD you already own; 500 MHz again applies in interleaving mode. All the other keys on this page fit it as well.
