Siglent SDS3000X HD Series
High-end 12-bit acquisition up to 1 GHz and 4 GSa/s, with up to 400 Mpts of memory, a 200,000 wfm/s capture rate, USB 3.0 & Gigabit LAN, and a 10.1" multi-touch display — mixed-signal and 50 MHz AWG ready. Available in 350 MHz, 500 MHz and 1 GHz.
Why choose the SDS3000X HD?
The SDS3000X HD gives you flagship-class capability at a mid-range price. A true 12-bit ADC (up to 16-bit in ERES) delivers 16× the vertical resolution of an 8-bit scope, so you can trust the small numbers — power-rail ripple, low-level distortion and fine detail riding on big signals stay clearly visible thanks to a quiet 125 µVrms front end and 0.5% DC gain accuracy.
Crucially, that resolution comes without giving up speed: up to 1 GHz bandwidth, 4 GSa/s sampling and a class-leading 400 Mpts of memory let you capture long, fast events at full fidelity, while 200,000 wfm/s helps you catch rare glitches.
It also replaces a whole bench: built-in Bode plot, power analysis, 4 Mpts FFT, 16-channel MSO and a 50 MHz generator option mean one instrument covers analog, digital, power and control work. Add a fast, modern workflow — 10.1" multi-touch, USB 3.0, Gigabit LAN and web control — and a 3-year warranty with EU support, and the SDS3000X HD is built to stay on your bench for years.
A high-end analysis bench
Built-in tools for power, control, RF and high-speed digital design — no extra software needed.

Bode plot & power analysis

Frequently asked questions
What does the “HD” in SDS3000X HD mean?
“HD” refers to the 12-bit ADC (extendable to 16-bit in ERES mode) — 16× the vertical resolution of a standard 8-bit oscilloscope, so fine detail and small signals are clearly visible with far less noise. The front end is very quiet at just 125 µVrms at 1 GHz.
What is the difference between the SDS3034X HD, SDS3054X HD and SDS3104X HD?
Only the analog bandwidth: 350 MHz, 500 MHz and 1 GHz respectively. Every other specification — 4 channels, 12-bit, 4 GSa/s, 400 Mpts memory, 10.1" touch display and all software features — is identical across the series.
Is it a mixed-signal oscilloscope (MSO)?
Yes — add the optional SPL2016 16-channel logic probe for 16 digital channels at up to 1 GSa/s and 100 Mpts, decoded alongside the 4 analog channels.
Does it have an arbitrary waveform generator?
A 50 MHz arbitrary/function generator is available via the SAG1021I module (125 MSa/s, 16 kpts) — a built-in stimulus source for frequency-response and stimulus-response testing.
Which serial protocols can it trigger and decode?
I²C, SPI, UART, CAN and LIN are standard. CAN FD, CAN XL, FlexRay, I²S, MIL-STD-1553B, SENT, Manchester, ARINC429, SpaceWire, USB 2.0 and SPMI are available as options.
Can I control it remotely?
Yes. The built-in web server gives full operation from a browser over Gigabit LAN; it also supports an external mouse and keyboard, SCPI remote control, USB 3.0 connectivity, and the 10.1" multi-touch screen.
