Every rack mount kit, carry case and cover in Siglent’s current range — 21 items. Kits are made for a case size rather than a model name, so start with the finder: look up your instrument and it tells you which kit and which case fit.
A bench instrument in a rack, or on the road
Siglent’s instruments are built for the bench: feet, a carrying handle and a front panel meant to be looked down at. A rack mount kit turns the same instrument into a system component. The handle and feet come off, the instrument is fixed in a 19-inch panel, shelf or frame, and it goes into a standard EIA rack next to the generator, the supply and the load it works with — screen, controls and inputs still on the front, where you can reach them.
That matters in three places. In an automated test system, where every instrument has a fixed position and the cabling is dressed once. On a production line, where the scope must not walk off with the probes. And in a shared laboratory, where the instruments that get damaged are the ones that can be picked up.
The carry cases do the opposite job: they take a bench instrument out of the building. Padded soft cases for the oscilloscopes and analysers, a bag for the handhelds, a hard transport case and a protective cover for the large SDS6000A, SNA5000A and SSA5000A.

Six reasons customers buy them — and why the choice of kit matters.
The instrument stays put
Four probes, a ground lead and a USB cable pull a 4 kg bench scope around more than people expect. Bolted into a rack it stays exactly where it was set up, and nobody borrows it for another bench.
Screen and controls at eye level
A bench instrument is looked down at. At the right height in a rack it is looked straight at — and every Siglent kit leaves the display, knobs, inputs and USB ports fully accessible through the front panel.
One frame for the whole test system
Scope, generator, supply and load in one 19-inch frame, with the cabling dressed once and every instrument on LAN. That is what turns a bench into an automated test station.
Lifted by the frame, not the bezel
Most kits carry a handle at each side, so the assembly goes into the rails by its frame. Nothing is lifted by the instrument’s front.
Protection on the road
Field service and site work are not what a bench instrument’s cardboard box was made for. A padded case with room for probes and leads, or a hard transport case for the large analysers, gets it there in one piece.
Cover the front when it travels
The FC1 cover protects the touch screen and the front connectors of the SDS6000A, SNA5000A and SSA5000A between uses and in transit — the two parts that are expensive to replace.

Rack mount kits for oscilloscopes
The oscilloscope kits are split by case size, not by name. “HD” describes the 12-bit ADC, not the case: the SDS800X HD takes the 4U SDS1X-E-RMK, the SDS1000X/2000X/3000X HD take the 6U SDS2000HD-RMK.

Rack mount kits for generators, multimeters and analysers
The SDG-RMK is a shelf, so one kit takes an SDG generator or an SDM3000 multimeter. To rack two of them side by side in 3U, the SDG-2-RMK costs less than a single SDG-RMK. The SDG7000A is the exception: it takes the SSG-RMK.

How the kits are built, and how much rack they take
Four constructions, and the height each kit needs. Add the heights of the kits you plan before you order the rack.
Panel with an opening
The instrument sits in a full-width 19-inch panel with a handle each side. One kit per case size, so it covers every series that shares that case.

A tray with a front panel: the instrument stands on it rather than being bolted to it, which is why one shelf takes both generators and multimeters.

Questions about cases and rack mounts
How do I find the right rack kit?
Look up your instrument in the finder table above. Kits are made for a case size, and several Siglent series share one — so the kit’s name does not always match your model. When in doubt, send us the model number.
What does “U” mean?
One rack unit (1U) is 44.45 mm of height in a 19-inch rack. A 3U kit needs 133 mm, a 6U kit 267 mm. All kits here are for standard 19-inch EIA racks.
Can I put two instruments in one kit?
Only with the SDG-2-RMK, which holds two SDG generators or SDM3000 multimeters side by side in 3U, and the SPS5000X-RMK, which holds several SPS5000X supplies. All other kits take one instrument.
My instrument is not in the table.
Siglent does not name a kit for every series — for example the SDG1000X Plus, SDG3000X, SDM4000A and SDS6000L. Ask us before ordering; we check the fit with Siglent.
Some items say “on request”. Can I still order them?
Yes. They are in Siglent’s current range; ask for a quote and we supply them at the list price shown.
Can I return a case or rack kit?
Yes. These are physical accessories, so the normal 14-day EU return right applies to consumer orders.
Racking several instruments?
Send us the list of instruments and your rack height. We will pick the kits, check the total height and quote the set.
