Siglent SDS2000X Plus Series
The third generation of Siglent’s 2000-series — a feature-rich, general-purpose oscilloscope with 2 GSa/s, up to 200 Mpts of memory, a 500,000 wfm/s capture rate and a 10.1" multi-touch display. Bode plot, power analysis, MSO and a 50 MHz generator on tap. 100, 200 or 350 MHz, upgradable to 500 MHz.
A complete general-purpose bench
The SDS2000X Plus takes everything that made the 2000-series popular and adds five years of customer feedback. Siglent’s SPO technology delivers a fast 500,000 wfm/s capture rate with 256-level intensity grading, so infrequent glitches and signal detail are easy to see, while up to 200 Mpts of memory captures long events at full sample rate. An 8-bit front end with a 10-bit enhanced-resolution mode keeps low-level measurements clean.
It is built to do more than capture waveforms: Bode plot and power analysis, a built-in 50 MHz generator option, 16-channel MSO, a broad serial-decode suite and a bright 10.1" capacitive multi-touch display with full web control. A powerful, flexible tool for general-purpose work across the lab, classroom and production floor.
Analysis tools built in
Far more than a scope — a measurement workbench for power, control and embedded design.

Bode plot & frequency response
Drive the built-in generator or any Siglent SDG and the scope plots gain and phase versus frequency automatically — ideal for power-supply loop response and filter characterisation, replacing a network analyzer in less demanding applications.

Power analysis
The optional power-analysis software measures switching loss, harmonics, ripple, modulation, slew rate and safe-operating-area — improving measurement efficiency for switching supplies and power-device designs.

Mixed-signal (MSO)
Add the SPL2016 Plus logic probe for 16 digital channels alongside the analog inputs, with the same decoders.

Built-in 50 MHz AWG
Optional arbitrary/function generator licence for stimulus-response testing without a second instrument.

Serial decode
Trigger and decode I²C, SPI, UART, CAN and LIN as standard; CAN FD, FlexRay, I²S and MIL-STD-1553B as options.

Deep memory & history
200 Mpts of capture with Sequence and History modes to find rare events — plus a 10-bit ERES mode for cleaner traces.

Frequently asked questions
What is the SDS2000X Plus series?
It is the third-generation Siglent 2000-series oscilloscope — a feature-rich, general-purpose 8-bit scope with a 10.1" multi-touch display, deep 200 Mpts memory, a 500,000 wfm/s capture rate and a long list of built-in tools. A standard configuration that covers most lab, education and service tasks, with software options to grow into MSO, a generator and more.
What is the difference between the four models?
Channel count and bandwidth: the SDS2102X Plus is 2-channel/100 MHz, while the SDS2104X, SDS2204X and SDS2354X Plus are 4-channel at 100, 200 and 350 MHz. Everything else — 2 GSa/s, 200 Mpts, 10.1" touch and all software features — is shared. Each model is software-upgradable to a higher bandwidth.
Is the SDS2000X Plus a 12-bit oscilloscope?
No — it uses an 8-bit ADC with a 10-bit enhanced-resolution (ERES) mode for lower noise at reduced bandwidth. If you need native 12-bit acquisition, look at the SDS2000X HD series instead; the X Plus focuses on capture rate, memory and all-round versatility.
Is it a mixed-signal oscilloscope (MSO)?
Yes — add the optional SPL2016 Plus 16-channel logic probe (with licence key) to view and decode 16 digital channels alongside the analog channels.
Does it have a built-in waveform generator?
A 50 MHz arbitrary/function waveform generator is available as a permanent software licence (SDS2000XP-FG), turning the scope into a compact stimulus-and-measure bench in one box.
Which serial protocols can it trigger and decode?
I²C, SPI, UART/RS232, CAN and LIN are standard. CAN FD, FlexRay, I²S and MIL-STD-1553B are available as separate trigger-and-decode licences.
Can I control it remotely?
Yes. The built-in web server lets you operate the scope from any browser over LAN; it also supports an external mouse and keyboard, full SCPI remote control, and the 10.1" multi-touch screen for direct operation.
