ISO & DKD calibration you can trust
Every instrument we ship comes with a factory ISO calibration certificate. When you need accredited assurance or periodic recalibration, we provide ISO/IEC 17025 (DKD / DAkkS) calibration — fully traceable to SI, with documented measured values and uncertainties.
Calibration, the way it should be
From an included factory certificate to fully accredited calibration — choose the level of assurance your work requires.
Factory ISO certificate
Every new instrument ships with a Siglent factory ISO calibration certificate (ISO 9001:2015) as standard — covering appearance, function, performance and safety tests, traceable to SI, at no extra cost.
Accredited ISO/DKD (DAkkS)
Need accredited assurance? We arrange DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 calibration through a DAkkS-accredited (DKD) laboratory — measured values, conformity and expanded uncertainties, internationally recognised via the EA and ILAC agreements. Quoted per instrument.
Recalibration
Keep your bench compliant. We recalibrate your existing Siglent instruments at your chosen interval (typically annually) and can quote ISO or accredited DKD calibration.
ISO or DKD — which do you need?
Both deliver a traceable calibration; accredited DKD adds independent, internationally recognised assurance.
ISO calibration
- Issued by Siglent under an ISO 9001:2015 quality system
- Appearance, function, performance & safety tests — documented PASS
- Traceable to SI via national metrology institutes (NIM, NIST, PTB) under the CIPM MRA
- Included free with every new instrument — ideal for general lab, education & R&D
Accredited DKD / DAkkS
- Performed to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 by a DAkkS-accredited lab (member of the DKD)
- Every test point with measured value, deviation, specification & %TOL
- Expanded measurement uncertainty (k = 2, ~95%) per EA-4/02
- Documented PASS/FAIL conformity with a stated decision rule
- Recognised internationally — DAkkS signatory to the EA & ILAC agreements
Calibration pricing
Transparent per-instrument pricing. Prices are from-prices and depend on the exact model — we confirm the price for your unit on your quote.

Prices are per instrument and exclude VAT. Full per-model pricing is listed in the calibration request form.
Each quote includes UPS return shipping of your unit(s) back to you.
You arrange and cover shipping of the unit(s) to the calibration laboratory.
What's on the certificate
An accredited DKD / DAkkS certificate is a complete, auditable record of the calibration — not just a "passed" sticker. A typical report runs to many pages of measured results.
- Measured value vs nominal and deviation, for every test point
- Specification & occupied tolerance (%TOL) for each result
- Expanded measurement uncertainty (k = 2, ~95%) per EA-4/02
- PASS / FAIL conformity with a documented decision rule
- Traceability to SI via the reference standards used (each listed with its own cal status)
- Accreditation mark & registration (DAkkS / DKD), recognised under EA & ILAC
- Calibration date, next-calibration date, ambient conditions & lab-manager signature

Why calibrate?
Calibration keeps your measurements trustworthy — and your results defensible.
Measurement confidence
Know your instrument reads true — within a stated, documented uncertainty.
Compliance & audits
Meet ISO 9001 / IATF / 17025 and customer requirements with accredited records.
Traceability to SI
An unbroken chain to national standards backs up every result you report.
Protect your assets
Catch drift early, avoid costly re-work and extend the useful life of your gear.
How it works
Request a quote
Complete the calibration request form with your model(s) and whether you need ISO or accredited DKD calibration, and email it to us.
Ship it in
Add calibration to a new purchase, or ship your existing instrument to the calibration lab — inbound shipping is arranged and covered by you.
We calibrate
Calibration is performed against traceable reference standards — to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 at a DAkkS-accredited lab for DKD.
Certificate & return
Your instrument is returned with its certificate — return shipping is included in the quote — and we can remind you when recalibration is due.
Request a calibration quote
Download the calibration request form, fill in your model numbers and whether you need ISO or accredited DKD (DAkkS) calibration, and email it to us — we'll quote it, including for instruments you already own. Each quote includes UPS return shipping; shipping to the lab is arranged by you.
Frequently asked questions
ISO & DKD calibration with siglent.eu.
Is calibration included with my instrument?
Yes — every new instrument ships with a factory ISO calibration certificate as standard. Accredited ISO/DKD (DAkkS) calibration and periodic recalibration are available as a paid service on request.
What is the difference between ISO and DKD/DAkkS calibration?
The factory ISO certificate is issued by Siglent under its ISO 9001:2015 quality system and is traceable to SI via national metrology institutes. An accredited DKD/DAkkS calibration is performed to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 by an independently accredited laboratory, with per-point measured values, expanded uncertainties (k = 2) and a documented conformity decision rule, and is recognised internationally through the EA and ILAC agreements — the right choice for audited or regulated environments.
How often should I recalibrate?
A 12-month interval is typical, but the right interval depends on your usage, accuracy requirements and quality system. Note that a Siglent factory calibration is not significantly affected by up to 180 days of storage before first use, so the interval starts when the unit is put into service (or 180 days past the certificate date). We can advise and set up recalibration reminders for you.
Is the calibration traceable and accredited?
Yes. Calibrations are traceable to SI units via national standards. Accredited DKD calibrations are carried out by a DAkkS-accredited laboratory to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, carry a unique accreditation mark and registration, and are recognised internationally as the DAkkS is a signatory to the EA and ILAC mutual-recognition agreements.
Can you recalibrate instruments I already own?
Yes — we handle recalibration of your existing Siglent instruments. Contact us with the model and serial number for a quote and turnaround time.
How do I order calibration?
Simply request a quote — add calibration to a new order, or send your instrument in for recalibration. We'll confirm scope, price and turnaround before you proceed.
How much does calibration cost?
Pricing is per instrument and depends on the model — ISO calibration starts at €141 and DKD/DAkkS calibration at €164, up to roughly €1,177 / €1,409 for high-end spectrum analyzers. DKD is typically about 20% above ISO. Prices exclude VAT and include UPS return shipping. Full per-model pricing is in the calibration request form.
Who arranges and pays for shipping?
You arrange and cover shipping of your unit(s) to the calibration laboratory. The return shipping of the calibrated unit(s) back to you is included in the quote.
Calibration scope, accreditation, turnaround and pricing are confirmed per instrument on quotation and may change without notice. The example certificate is shown for illustration only. Please contact us to confirm any detail before ordering.
