SPD3303C — 3-channel 220 W linear power supply

The SPD3303C puts three isolated linear outputs on the bench for the price of a good single-channel supply: two adjustable 0–32 V / 3.2 A channels plus a fixed 2.5 / 3.3 / 5 V logic rail, 220 W in total — enough to power an entire prototype from one box, each rail with its own hard current limit.

The two main channels combine at a button press: series for up to 60 V, parallel for up to 6.4 A, or wire them as symmetric ± rails for op-amp work — the outputs are fully isolated, so the topology is yours to choose. Bright LED meters show voltage and current on both channels at once, the panel timer sequences five groups of timed settings without a PC, five memories store complete setups, and USB with SCPI plus the free EasyPower software covers remote control.

One supply, three rails — and two channels that team up

Isolated outputs, series and parallel modes, and a timer that works without a PC.

Siglent SPD3303C series connection — up to 60 V

Series mode: 60 V from a button press

Select series and the two 32 V channels stack into one 0–60 V output — the supply handles the master–slave tracking, you just wire across the outer terminals as shown. PoE and telecom rails, 48 V industrial electronics with tolerance headroom, or symmetric ± rails when you ground the midpoint: the isolated outputs make all of it a wiring choice, not a second instrument.

Siglent SPD3303C parallel connection — up to 6.4 A

Parallel mode: one 6.4 A output

Parallel mode ties both channels behind a single pair of terminals for up to 6.4 A of linear-regulated current — the master channel sets voltage and the slave shares the load automatically. Motors, heaters, LED arrays and charging tests get the current they need with the same ≤ 1 mVrms ripple and ≤ 0.01% + 3 mV load regulation as a single channel.

Siglent SPD3303C LED display and front panel

LED meters you read across the lab

Four-digit voltage and three-digit current glow for both channels simultaneously — no menus, no squinting. Real knobs and keys set values fast, the lock key freezes the panel against accidental changes, and CV/CC indicators show each channel's state at a glance.

Timer, memories & EasyPower

The panel timer steps through five groups of timed voltage/current settings without a PC — power-cycling, staged start-ups, endurance runs. Five memories store complete setups, and the free EasyPower software adds PC-side control and sequencing over USB with SCPI.

Application examples

Powering multi-rail prototypes

One box powers the whole board: the fixed channel holds the 3.3 V or 5 V logic rail while the two adjustable channels feed analog stages, motor drivers or radio modules — each output isolated, each with its own current limit, all switched on together or one at a time.

Symmetric supplies for op-amp circuits

Because the channels are isolated, wiring them in series with a grounded midpoint gives clean ±15 V (or any symmetric pair up to ±32 V) for amplifier and filter work — with channel tracking keeping both rails matched.

Education and training labs

Bright LED meters readable from across the room, real knobs and keys, a lock button, hard current limits and five recallable setups make it a supply students can use all day without breaking boards — or the supply.

48 V and high-current jobs

Series mode reaches 60 V for PoE, telecom and industrial 48 V rails with headroom; parallel mode delivers 6.4 A from a single pair of terminals for heaters, motors and charging tests.

Repair and service benches

Three rails cover most boards that arrive at the bench, the timer power-cycles a repair overnight, and stored setups bring back the exact test condition for repeat jobs — all controlled over USB when a script is faster.
