Siglent DF2001A Power analysis deskew fixture
Siglent DF2001A deskew fixture: aligns voltage & current probes for accurate switching-loss & power measurements. For Siglent scopes with the Power Analysis option.
DF2001A — Power Analysis deskew fixture
The DF2001A is the deskew fixture for accurate power measurements on a Siglent oscilloscope. When you measure power you use a voltage probe on one channel and a current probe on another — and because those two probes have different propagation delays, their signals arrive slightly out of step. At the nanosecond timescale of a switching edge, even a tiny skew throws off switching-loss, efficiency and power-quality results.
The DF2001A solves this: connect both probes to the fixture, run the oscilloscope’s built-in deskew routine, and the scope measures and cancels the timing offset between the channels. It is the recommended companion to the Power Analysis (–PA) software option and takes only a moment to set up before a measurement session.
Why a deskew fixture matters
Reliable power measurements depend on perfectly aligned voltage and current timing.
De-skews voltage & current
A voltage probe and a current probe have different propagation delays. The DF2001A lets the oscilloscope measure and cancel that timing skew automatically.
A clean, known test point
It provides a fast-edge signal and matched connection points for the voltage and current probes, so the scope’s deskew routine has a repeatable reference.
Accurate switching-loss results
Even a few nanoseconds of skew badly distorts power and switching-loss figures. Deskewing first makes turn-on / turn-off loss and efficiency numbers trustworthy.
At a glance

| Aligns | One voltage probe + one current probe (cancels propagation-delay skew) |
| Signal | Built-in fast-edge source as the deskew reference |
| Used with | Siglent oscilloscopes running the Power Analysis (–PA) software option |
| Probes | Works with passive / differential voltage probes and Siglent current probes |
| Form factor | Compact bench fixture — connect, run the deskew routine, then measure |
Supported oscilloscopes
The DF2001A works with every current Siglent oscilloscope series that offers the Power Analysis (–PA) option. Pair the fixture with the matching Power Analysis license for your model.
Using the DF2001A
Attach your voltage and current probes to the matched points on the fixture.
Start the oscilloscope’s deskew routine — it measures and cancels the delay between the two channels.
Move the probes to your circuit and run Power Analysis — losses, efficiency and harmonics are now accurate.
Build a complete power-measurement setup
Add the DF2001A and the Power Analysis license to your Siglent scope, with the right voltage and current probes. Not sure what you need? We’re happy to advise.
