SPS6225X — 1500 W programmable DC supply in 1U
The SPS6225X puts 1500 W of programmable DC into a single 1U rack slot, with a wide-range output of 0–200 V and 0–25 A. It is the high-voltage member of the pair — the model to pick when your rail matters more than raw amperage.
Because it is a constant-power design, the full 1500 W stays available across a wide voltage and current range rather than at a single operating point. Add CV/CC priority with millisecond slew control, 50-step list sequences, remote sense, an analog control interface and LAN with an embedded web server — and, when one chassis is not enough, up to five units in parallel for 7500 W.
1500 watts that go where you need them
Constant power, fast slew control and a chassis built for the rack.

Wide-range constant power
Rather than full power at one voltage/current point, the output follows a constant-power envelope (ratio 3.33): the knee sits around 7.5 A at 60 V, and beyond it the supply trades volts for amps automatically. One instrument covers a far wider set of jobs than a conventional rectangular-output supply of the same wattage.

CV / CC priority with millisecond slew
Choose constant-voltage or constant-current priority at turn-on and set how fast the output moves — voltage 0.001 – 4 V/ms, current 0.001 – 0.5 A/ms. CC priority limits inrush and overshoot into capacitive loads; CV priority snaps the rail up. Transient recovery is 2.5 ms.

1U of rack, 1500 W of supply
483 × 44 × 468 mm and 10 kg — a full 19″ 1U slot. Power density that lets a test rack carry several kilowatts without a dedicated cabinet.

Rear panel — sense, analog & LAN
Remote sense compensates 0.6 V per wire so the voltage lands at your load. Alongside it: the analog control connector (external V/I programming, monitor outputs, shutdown and status), LAN, USB and the output terminals.

Parallel to 7500 W
Up to five chassis of the same model run in parallel, sharing the load automatically — 7500 W and, on the SPS6150X, 250 A. Series operation is also supported provided the combined output stays within 400 V.
Key features
- 0–200 V / 0–25 A single output — 1500 W in a 19″ 1U chassis
- Wide-range constant power (ratio 3.33) — full wattage across a broad envelope instead of at one point

- Load transient recovery 2.5 ms · ripple 220 mVp-p / 39 mVrms
- Internal discharge circuit pulls the output down quickly when you program it lower
- List mode up to 50 steps for voltage and current profiles
- Remote sense (0.6 V compensation) · OVP, OCP, LPP and OTP protection
- External analog voltage control plus V/I monitoring outputs
- Parallel up to 5 units → 7500 W; series permitted up to a combined 400 V
- 3.12″ OLED · USB, LAN with embedded web server and analog control standard · USB-GPIB optional
- Efficiency > 86% at full current, > 90% at full voltage
Application examples
High-voltage DC-link and battery work
200 V covers EV and storage DC-links, multi-cell packs and PV string simulation, with the constant-power envelope giving you full wattage well below the rated voltage.
LED lighting strings
Long series strings need voltage rather than current. The wide-range output and 0.001–4 V/ms slew control bring a string up without the inrush that kills drivers.
Automotive and e-mobility electronics
Traction inverters, DC-DC converters and on-board chargers run at high-voltage rails — and list mode reproduces the ramp and dwell profiles those tests need.
Burn-in and endurance
1500 W continuous in 1U, with OVP/OCP/LPP/OTP protection and a 2.5 ms transient recovery so the rail holds while the DUT cycles.
Scaling up
Up to five SPS6225X chassis run in parallel for 7500 W, and units may be placed in series provided the combined output stays at or below 400 V.

Accessories & the other model
The optional accessories Siglent lists for this series, plus its sibling.

The 30 A test leads the factory lists for this series — rated 30 A / 600 V, so they suit both the 200 V and 100 V models.

Adds GPIB to the standard USB and LAN interfaces — for racks built around a GPIB controller.

Same 1500 W chassis, more current instead of voltage: 0–100 V at 50 A.
Our other 30 A cable (SDL/SPS, €23) is rated 150 V maximum and is therefore not suitable for the 200 V SPS6225X — use the 600 V SDL/PWR set above.
