SIGLENT SAP8000D 8 GHz Differential Active Probe | SAPBus Probe
The SIGLENT SAP8000D is made for professional engineers who need accurate high-bandwidth differential measurements. With its 8 GHz bandwidth and SAPBus interface, it is an excellent match for compatible SIGLENT oscilloscopes in advanced R&D, design validation and high-speed electronics testing. The included probe heads and accessories make it suitable for a wide range of PCB probing situations, including solder-in, socketed and single-ended measurements.
SAP8000D — 8 GHz differential active probe
The SAP8000D is made for engineers who need accurate, high-bandwidth differential measurements. With 8 GHz of bandwidth, low noise and a very low 300 fF differential input capacitance, it introduces minimal loading to the circuit under test — so what you see on screen is what the circuit really does.
It connects through Siglent’s SAPBus interface, drawing power and communication straight from the oscilloscope — no external supply — and automatically reports its model, serial number, bandwidth, impedance, capacitance and attenuation to the scope. A ÷10 ratio, ±2.5 V dynamic range, ±12 V offset and 20 kΩ differential input, with a full set of solder-in and socketed heads, make it ready for almost any high-speed connection.
Why the SAP8000D

8 GHz bandwidth
A DC-to-8 GHz differential front end resolves the fastest edges, serial links and clocks with flat response and low noise.

Only 300 fF loading
An ultra-low 300 fF differential input capacitance (20 kΩ) barely touches the circuit under test, so your measurement reflects reality.

Plug-and-play SAPBus
The SAPBus interface powers the probe from the scope — no external supply — and auto-reports model, serial, bandwidth, impedance and attenuation.

Interchangeable heads
Solder-in and socketed, differential and single-ended heads (DSI-01/SSI-01/DRP-01/SRP-01) adapt to almost any connection point.
Who it’s for & best applications
The SAP8000D is for engineers characterising the fastest signals — where an ordinary passive probe would load the circuit and roll off the bandwidth. Its 8 GHz bandwidth, 300 fF input capacitance and true differential front end let you probe high-speed serial links, clocks and power-integrity rails with minimal disturbance, on an SDS6000 Pro or SDS7000A oscilloscope.

In the box
The SAP8000D ships as a complete kit — probe, both head types and a full connection accessory set.

Standard accessories also include 10 cm ground wires, straight / pogo / swivel pins, silver wire, colored rings, thickness gauge and double-sided tape.
Compatible oscilloscopes
The SAP8000D uses the SAPBus interface — supported by Siglent’s high-end SDS6000 Pro and SDS7000A series. The scope powers the probe and reads its information automatically.
