Siglent SNA5000-TDA — Time-Domain Analysis option (SNA5000X-E / SNA5000A)
Software licence that adds Time-Domain Analysis to the Siglent SNA5000 vector network analyzers — transform S-parameters into the time domain to locate reflections, impedance changes and discontinuities in cables, PCBs and interconnects. Activated by key, no hardware.
Time-Domain Analysis
The SNA5000-TDA option adds Time-Domain Analysis to the SNA5000 vector network analyzers. It transforms frequency-domain S-parameter data into the time domain, so you can clearly visualise reflections, impedance changes and discontinuities in RF structures, cables, connectors and PCB interconnects.
Because it works from your existing calibration and measurement setup, TDA adds time-domain insight — reflection sources, impedance transitions and fixture effects — that is difficult to see from frequency-domain data alone, without any extra hardware.

What it adds
Frequency-to-time transformation
Convert S-parameters into time-domain reflection and transmission responses.
Time-domain gating
Isolate discontinuities and remove unwanted reflections from fixtures and adapters.
Impedance vs. time
Clearly identify impedance mismatches, reflections and structural transitions.
Single-ended & multi-port
Suitable for RF and high-frequency interconnect characterisation.
Seamless VNA integration
Uses your existing calibration, markers and measurement setups.
Software licence
Activated with a licence key — no additional hardware required.
Where it is used
Compatibility & activation
Compatible instruments
Siglent SNA5000X-E (SNA5003X-E, SNA5006X-E) and SNA5000A series vector network analyzers.
How it is supplied
Delivered electronically and activated on the instrument with a licence key — no hardware to install. Excluded from the 14-day EU return right once the key has been issued.
