Enhanced Time-Domain / TDR
The SNA5000-TDR option adds advanced Time-Domain Reflectometry (TDR) and Time-Domain Transmission (TDT) to the SNA5000 vector network analyzers. It precisely locates impedance discontinuities, faults and reflections in cables, PCB traces, connectors and high-speed interconnects.
By transforming frequency-domain S-parameters into the time domain, TDR gives clear, intuitive insight into signal-integrity issues — turning the VNA into a powerful fault-analysis and interconnect-characterisation platform that reduces debug time and improves design confidence.
