Siglent SNA5000-AFR — Automatic Fixture Removal option (SNA5000X-E / SNA5000A)
Software licence for automatic fixture removal on the Siglent SNA5000 vector network analyzers — mathematically de-embed test fixtures to measure the true performance of SMD, PCB and non-coaxial devices, with Touchstone S2P export. Activated by key.
Automatic Fixture Removal
The SNA5000-AFR option adds Automatic Fixture Removal to the SNA5000 vector network analyzers. It mathematically de-embeds the effects of a test fixture, so you can measure the true performance of non-coaxial devices such as SMD components, PCBs and custom fixtures.
AFR supports 1-port, 2-port and multi-port (including differential) configurations and exports de-embedded results as Touchstone S2P files — an essential tool for accurate RF and microwave characterisation of devices that cannot be measured directly at a coaxial plane.

What it adds
Automatic de-embedding
Mathematically removes test-fixture effects to reveal the true device response.
1-, 2- & multi-port
Supports 1-port, 2-port and multi-port, including differential configurations.
Non-coaxial devices
Accurately measure SMD components, PCBs and custom fixtures.
Touchstone S2P export
Export the de-embedded device response as an S2P file.
No DUT-plane standards
Removes fixtures mathematically — no calibration standards at the device plane.
Software licence
Activated with a licence key — no additional hardware required.
Where it is used
Compatibility & activation
Compatible instruments
Siglent SNA5000X-E (SNA5003X-E, SNA5006X-E) and SNA5000A series vector network analyzers.
How it is supplied
Delivered electronically and activated on the instrument with a licence key — no hardware to install. Excluded from the 14-day EU return right once the key has been issued.
