Siglent’s SDS1000X-E, SDS2000X-E, SDS800X HD and SDS1000X-U share one 312 mm case, and the SDS1000CML+/DL+ is a near twin. The BAG-S1 is the case Siglent makes for that size: the oscilloscope goes in the main compartment, the accessories in the front pocket, and the whole set travels by handle or by shoulder. It is the difference between an instrument that stays on the bench and one that goes where the fault is.

What you use it for
Taking a bench oscilloscope out of the lab: field service, a customer visit, a lecture room, a second site. The cardboard box the scope came in was made for one trip; this is made for every trip after it.
In practice
A service engineer keeps an SDS1204X-E and its four probes in the BAG-S1 in the van. On site the scope comes out with everything it needs already in the front pocket, and goes back the same way — no probe left on the customer’s bench.
One case, one oscilloscope. The BAG-S1 is sized for the compact 312 mm chassis; the larger SDS2000X, SDS2000X Plus, SDS2000X HD and SDS5000X and the SSA3000X / SVA1000X analysers take the BAG-S2. Siglent publishes no dimensions or weight for the case itself, so we do not quote any. It is a padded soft case: fine for the van, the train and the site, not a substitute for a hard transport case in air freight.

Which oscilloscopes fit?
Siglent names the SDS1000X-E, SDS2000X-E, SDS1000X and SDS1000DL+/CML+ series. The SDS800X HD and SDS1000X-U use exactly the same 312 × 132.6 × 151 mm case as the SDS1000X-E, so they fit too.
Does it fit the SDS2000X HD or SDS2000X Plus?
No. Those are a larger case and take the BAG-S2. The same goes for the SDS5000X and for the SSA3000X and SVA1000X analysers.
Is there room for the probes and the power lead?
Yes. The zipped front pocket takes the probes, the power lead, a USB cable and the quick-start guide, so the instrument travels complete.
What are the case’s dimensions and weight?
Siglent does not publish them, and we would rather say so than guess. It is sized around a 312 × 133 × 151 mm oscilloscope. If the size matters for your packing, ask us and we measure one.
Is it padded enough for shipping?
It is a padded soft case for carrying and for transport in a vehicle. For courier or air freight, keep the original box or use a hard case.
Can I return it?
Yes. It is a physical accessory, so the normal 14-day EU return right applies to consumer orders.
