Siglent SDG-RMK 19" 3U Rack Mount Kit
Siglent SDG-RMK 19-inch 3U rack shelf for Siglent SDG800, SDG1000X, SDG2000X and SDG6000X generators and SDM3000 multimeters. One instrument; the SDG-2-RMK takes two
A shelf, not a set of brackets
Most rack kits bolt ears to the sides of one specific chassis. This one does not: the SDG-RMK is a 19-inch shelf, 3U high, with a cut-out for the front panel, two rack handles and a pair of support brackets underneath.
That distinction is the whole point of the product. Because the instrument sits in the shelf rather than being bolted to it, one kit covers the entire half-width Siglent bench range — function generators from the SDG800 up to the SDG6000X, and the SDM3000 multimeters, which people routinely do not realise it fits.
Nothing is drilled and nothing is permanent. The instrument lifts back out whenever you want it on a bench again.

SDG1000 / SDG5000
The older generators — SDG1010, SDG1025, SDG1050
The SDG-2-RMK holds two instruments side by side in a single 3U opening — and it costs less than one SDG-RMK. Two singles would cost more than twice as much and use twice the rack height. If you are mounting a generator and a multimeter together, that is the one you want.
Siglent's price list names the SDL1000X load for this kit; their accessory page does not. The SDG1000X Plus and SDM4000A are not named by either. All three are about the right size, but we are not going to tell you it fits when Siglent have not said so — send us the model and we will confirm properly. It also does not fit the SSG generators or the SDG7000A, which take the SSG-RMK.

Not the right kit? The whole range
Siglent make a different rack kit for almost every chassis, and the model names are close enough to catch people out. Find your instrument here rather than guessing.

Questions we are asked
Does it really fit my multimeter as well as my generator?
Yes, and it is the most-missed thing about this kit. Siglent list the whole SDM3000 series — SDM3045X, SDM3055, SDM3065X and the -SC scanner versions — alongside the generators. It works because this is a shelf: the instrument sits on a plate rather than having brackets bolted to its sides, so any chassis of roughly the right size will sit in it.
I have two instruments. Two kits?
No — and this is worth reading before you order. The SDG-2-RMK holds two instruments side by side in a single 3U opening, and it costs less than one SDG-RMK. Two of these kits would be more than twice the price and would use twice the rack height. If you have two, buy the two-instrument kit.
Will it fit an SDG1000X Plus?
Siglent do not list it, and the SDG1000X Plus page names only a BNC cable, the ATT-20dB attenuator, the SPA1010 amplifier and a USB-GPIB adapter as its accessories — no rack kit. We would rather you asked us than assumed: tell us the model and we will check before you order.
What about the SDL1000X electronic load, or an SDM4000A?
The SDL1000X appears in Siglent's price list for this kit but not on their accessory page, and the SDM4000A is not named by either. Both are the same rough chassis size, so it is plausible — but plausible is not confirmed. Ask us and we will get a straight answer rather than guess on your behalf.
Does it fit an SSG signal generator or an SDG7000A?
No. Those take the SSG-RMK. Our name for that one is “SSG-SDG-RMK”, which is confusing in the other direction — the only SDG it fits is the SDG7000A.
How much depth do I need behind it?
Enough for the instrument plus its cabling without tight bends. The shelf is 3U high and takes the full 19-inch width; leave the usual clearance around the vents, and remember the instrument's own feet no longer set the spacing once it is on a shelf.
Does the instrument get modified?
No. Nothing is drilled and nothing is permanent — the instrument sits in the shelf and lifts back out whenever you want it on a bench again.
Send us the model number first
Rack kits are the easiest accessory to get wrong and the most annoying to send back. Tell us what you are mounting — and how many — and we will tell you which kit, including the ones that have no page on the shop yet. JRSE B.V. is the official Siglent distributor for the European Union.
