Product overview
The SSA3050X-R is a real-time spectrum analyzer covering 9 kHz to 5.0 GHz. With up to 40 MHz real-time bandwidth, a 7.2 µs 100% probability of intercept and a 60 dB real-time dynamic range, it captures rare, fast and overlapping events — then shows them as density, spectrogram, 3D or power-versus-time so nothing hides in the gaps.
It is far more than a spectrum analyzer: a 1-path-2-port vector network analyzer (vector S11 & S21, up to 90 dB dynamic range) and a distance-to-fault locator are built in at no extra charge, alongside a standard preamplifier and tracking generator. Add analog & digital modulation analysis, EMI pre-compliance and the 40 MHz real-time upgrade as licences when you need them.

A bright 10.1-inch capacitive multi-touch screen makes real-time views quick to drive — with mouse, keyboard and browser remote control on any PC or mobile. With a −165 dBm/Hz displayed average noise level, a +14 dBm third-order intercept and < 0.7 dB total amplitude accuracy, the SSA3050X-R delivers the sensitivity, dynamic range and repeatability demanded by IoT and wireless development, cable & antenna testing, EMI pre-compliance, R&D and production alike.

Standard preamp & tracking generator
A 20 dB preamplifier and a tracking generator are fitted as standard, giving a −165 dBm/Hz DANL, +14 dBm TOI and < 0.7 dB total amplitude accuracy for wide dynamic range.
Modulation analysis & EMI
Optional analog (AM/FM) and wideband digital (ASK/FSK/MSK/PSK/QAM) modulation analysis, an advanced measurement kit and a CISPR-16 EMI pre-compliance mode.
