Siglent SDS1000XHD-PA Power Analysis Software / license option
The SDS1000XHD-PA license unlocks a full power-analysis suite inside your Siglent SDS1000X HD oscilloscope — no extra instrument needed. Using a voltage and a current probe, it automates power quality, current harmonics, switching loss with SOA, inrush current, dv/dt & di/dt slew rate, modulation and output ripple/regulation/efficiency measurements. It's a software-only activation keyed to your scope's serial number, and the SDS1000X HD's 12-bit front end makes the results meaningfully more accurate than an 8-bit scope.

The SDS1000XHD-PA license unlocks a complete power-analysis suite inside your SDS1000X HD oscilloscope — turning the scope you already own into a capable power-measurement instrument, with no extra box on the bench. Using a voltage and a current probe, it automates the measurements that are slow and error-prone to set up by hand.
It characterises switch-mode power supplies, converters and motor drives: power quality, current harmonics, switching loss with SOA, inrush current, dv/dt & di/dt slew rate, modulation, output ripple, line & load regulation and efficiency. The 12-bit acquisition of the SDS1000X HD makes these results meaningfully more accurate than an 8-bit scope. It is a software-only activation — no hardware to fit — keyed to your instrument’s serial number.

Compatible oscilloscopes
The SDS1000XHD-PA license works with every model in the SDS1000X HD series. For full power analysis you need a free voltage channel and a current channel — the 4-channel models give the most flexibility.

- For best timing accuracy, the DF2001A deskew fixture to de-skew the V and I channels
- Any SDS1000X HD oscilloscope (the 12-bit front end does the rest)
- Order the SDS1000XHD-PA license and tell us your instrument’s serial number
- You receive a license key tied to that serial number
- Enter it on the scope under Utility › Software Options — the suite is unlocked permanently, no return shipment needed
