The S06-NMSF-1M is a 1000 mm 50 Ω test lead with an N male connector for the instrument and an SMA female connector for the device, specified from DC to 6 GHz.
The female SMA end is the whole point. A great many devices — connectorised amplifiers, pigtails, cable assemblies and any board that brings an SMA male out to the edge — need a female to mate with. Reach for a standard N-SMA cable in that situation and you are hunting for an adaptor; this cable simply connects. It is also 300 mm longer than the 0.7 m leads, which is often the difference between comfortable and awkward on a bench.
