A software key that raises an SSG3021X-IQE Plus from 2.1 GHz to 3.2 GHz — in CW and in external-IQ mode.
After activation the generator covers 9 kHz to 3.2 GHz in CW and 10 MHz to 3.2 GHz in IQ mode: the range of the SSG3032X-IQE Plus. Vector-modulated signals from an SDG6000X baseband can then be placed in the 2.4 GHz band and above, with the same 200 MHz RF modulation bandwidth.
As with the non-IQ key, it is the route for a requirement that arrives later. Bought new, the SSG3032X-IQE Plus is the cheaper way to 3.2 GHz — see the comparison below.

Which instrument it is for
For the SSG3021X Plus (no IQ) use the SSG3000X Plus-21BW32 key instead; the 3.2 GHz models need no key.
This key is for the SSG3021X-IQE Plus. The non-IQ model takes the SSG3000X Plus-21BW32, and the earlier SSG3021X-IQE (without Plus) takes the SSG3000X-IQE-21BW32. The codes are not interchangeable.

No. SSG3021X-IQE Plus plus this key comes to €6,298; the SSG3032X-IQE Plus costs €5,699 — €599 less. The key is for when the need arrives after the purchase.
Does it extend the IQ mode as well?
Yes — CW to 3.2 GHz and IQ mode from 10 MHz to 3.2 GHz, as on the SSG3032X-IQE Plus.
Does the hardware change?
No. It is a software key; the instrument keeps its calibration.
Can this key add IQ to a non-IQE model?
No. The external I/Q interface is hardware and cannot be added later; this key only raises the frequency range of a model that already has it.
What do you need from me?
The serial number of the instrument. The key is generated for that unit only.
