Siglent SDS6000L-ARINC ARINC 429 decode (software)
Siglent SDS6000L-ARINC is a Trigger and decode for ARINC 429 avionics words — label, SDI, data, SSM and parity. For the SDS6000L. ( license option )
SDS6000L-ARINC — ARINC 429 decode (software)
Trigger and decode for ARINC 429 avionics words — label, SDI, data, SSM and parity.
Supplied as a licence key issued against the instrument's serial number. There is no hardware to fit and nothing to return: the code is entered in the instrument's own menu and the function is available immediately, on the instrument you already own.

What this option does
What it does
Trigger and decode for ARINC 429, the avionics data bus. Decodes the label, SDI, data field, SSM and parity of each 32-bit word, and triggers on a specific label or on a parity error.
What you use it for
ARINC 429 is a one-way broadcast bus, so the practical question is usually whether a particular label is present, correctly formed and arriving at the right rate.
In practice
During integration a display unit ignores altitude data. Triggering on the altitude label shows the words are present and correctly parity-checked, but arriving at half the expected rate — which points at the transmitting box rather than the display.

Questions about SDS6000L-ARINC
Can I trigger on ARINC 429 data?
No. On the SDS6000L ARINC 429 is decode only. Capture with an edge, pulse-width or pattern trigger, and the decoder reads what was captured.
Can I decode from the SPL2016 logic probe?
No. ARINC 429 decodes from the analogue channels only.
Which protocols are already included?
I²C, SPI, UART, CAN and LIN trigger and decode are standard on every SDS6000L. CAN FD, CAN XL, FlexRay, I²S, MIL-STD-1553B, SENT, Manchester, ARINC 429, SpaceWire and USB 2.0 are keys.
How is the licence delivered?
Supplied as a licence key issued against the instrument's serial number. There is no hardware to fit and nothing to return: the code is entered in the instrument's own menu and the function is available immediately, on the instrument you already own. Add the instrument’s serial number to your order, or send it to us afterwards — the key is issued against it.
Can I return a licence?
Software licences and activation keys are delivered electronically and are excluded from the 14-day EU return right once the key has been issued. If you are unsure which key you need, ask us first — with your serial number we can confirm it.
Not sure this is the right key?
Send us your serial number and what you want to measure. We will confirm the exact option before you order.
