Siglent SDS822X HD 2CH 200MHz 12bit Oscilloscope
SIGLENT’s new SDS822X HD series high resolution digital storage oscilloscope is based on 2 GSa/s, 12-bit Analog-Digital Converters and front ends with excellent noise floor performance. With a 200MHz bandwidth, and a maximum record length of 100 Mpts, and has 2 analog channels + 16 digital channels mixed signal analysis ability.
SDS822X HD — 200 MHz, 2 channels, 12-bit
The SDS822X HD is the 200 MHz, 2-channel model of Siglent’s SDS800X HD series — the most affordable 12-bit oscilloscope in the range, bringing high-resolution acquisition to the bench, lab and classroom. The 12-bit ADC and a quiet 70 µVrms front end resolve small signals and ripple with far less noise than an 8-bit scope.
It pairs that resolution with 2 GSa/s sampling, up to 100 Mpts of memory and a 120,000 wfm/s capture rate, a 7" capacitive multi-touch display, and built-in Bode plot, power analysis and a 2 Mpts FFT. Standard serial decode (incl. CAN FD, FlexRay & I²S), an optional 16-channel logic probe and a 25 MHz generator make it a complete, budget-friendly bench.
Analysis tools built in

12-bit high resolution
A true 12-bit ADC reveals fine detail and small signals with 16× less quantisation noise than an 8-bit scope, on a front end with a 70 µVrms noise floor.

Bode plot & power analysis
Built-in frequency-response (Bode) plotting with a Vari-level mode for control-loop response, plus optional power-analysis tools.

2 Mpts FFT
A hardware-accelerated 2 Mpts FFT with Normal/Average/Max-hold modes, multiple windows and peak markers turns the scope into a capable spectrum tool.

Advanced math
Four math traces with +, −, ×, ÷, FFT, integrate, differentiate and square-root, plus a formula editor for complex operations.
Who it’s for & best applications
The SDS822X HD doubles the bandwidth to 200 MHz in a 2-channel format — for faster edges and higher-frequency signals where two channels suffice, with 12-bit resolution to still resolve fine detail. The extra bandwidth captures quicker rise times and higher clock rates cleanly, and the deep FFT extends spectral analysis further up the range. Backed by a 7″ capacitive multi-touch display, 100 Mpts memory and a 120,000 wfm/s capture rate, it suits faster development, validation and repair, and expands with an optional 16-channel logic probe and a 25 MHz generator.
