A 19-inch rack mount kit for one Siglent SDS7000A oscilloscope — the 3 to 8 GHz, 12-bit series, including the SDS7604AP and SDS7804AP.
The SDS7000A is 444.5 mm wide, 334 mm high without its feet and 10.6 kg: the largest bench oscilloscope in the Siglent range, and the one most likely to live in a fixed compliance or characterisation setup. In the kit it sits in a full-width panel with a handle at each side and a support bracket inside each side of the opening, and its touch screen, controls and inputs stay fully usable.
Siglent does not publish a U-height for this kit. The oscilloscope alone is taller than 7U (311 mm), so reserve 8U and ask us to confirm before you fix the rack layout.

Why rack an SDS7000A
10.6 kg stays put
The SDS7000A is the heaviest bench oscilloscope Siglent makes. In the kit it is carried by the panel and the side brackets, and it no longer moves when four probes and a cable dressing pull on it.
The screen at eye level
A large touch screen is meant to be read and touched. In a rack it sits in front of you instead of on a bench below you, which matters over a long compliance or debugging session.
Part of the test system
An 8 GHz scope usually lives in a fixed setup: compliance fixtures, a generator, a supply. In a rack the whole set is cabled once and driven over LAN.
Handles for the lift
The panel carries a handle each side, so the assembly goes into the rails by the frame, not by the oscilloscope’s bezel.

How much rack height do I need?

One. The kit is a full-width 19-inch panel with a single opening.

No. Those are smaller chassis and take the SDS6000A-RMK (7U) and the SDS5000X-RMK (6U).
Can I still use the touch screen and front connectors?
Yes. The oscilloscope’s front sits in the opening of the panel, so the screen, knobs and keys, all channel inputs, the USB ports and the power switch remain accessible.
Does the kit come with the rack rails?
Siglent describes it as a rack mount kit — the panel and its fittings. Rails or shelves that carry the weight in your cabinet are cabinet-specific; tell us the cabinet and we will advise.
