Siglent Y504MS Male 9 GHz N-type VNA Integrated calibration kit
Integrated mechanical OSLT calibration kit for vector network analysers: open, short, load and through standards in N-type male, specified DC–9 GHz into 50 Ω.
N-type male, DC – 9 GHz
The Y504MS is a an integrated mechanical OSLT calibration kit: open, short, load and through standards in N-type male, specified from DC to 9 GHz into 50 Ω.
A vector network analyser does not measure your device — it measures everything between its own receivers and your device, including the cables you fitted and every connector in between. Calibration is how that gets removed. You present standards whose behaviour is known precisely, the analyser measures them, and it then solves for the errors in the path. The reference plane moves from inside the instrument to the end of your cable, which is where your device actually starts.
Integrated, not loose. Siglent’s own description is that this kit “shares the same parts and specs” as the F504MS “but in integrated exterior”. Electrically there is nothing between them. What you are buying is one body instead of separate pieces — fewer things to fumble, mis-select or lose part-way through a calibration, which on a bench that calibrates often is worth more than the price difference.

What it calibrates
- SNA5012A and SNA5014A — the 9 GHz Type-N vector network analysers
- SNA5000X-E series, whose test ports are Type-N female
- SVA1000X series, for its vector network measurements
- SSA3000X-R series, for vector network analysis and distance-to-fault
Gender matters
This kit is male only, so it mates with female interfaces.

Connector, gender and frequency are Siglent’s own, from the price list and the SNA5000A, SNA6000A and SNA5000X-E ordering tables. Siglent does not publish per-kit residual figures such as directivity or load match — if your application depends on them, ask us and we will request them from the factory.
Not for the SVA1000X or SSA3000X-R
Those two series accept a restricted list of eight kits — the single-gender 4.5 GHz and 9 GHz F kits only (F503ME/FE, F504MS/FS, F603ME/FE, F604MS/FS). This kit is outside it, so it is for the SNA vector network analysers rather than for those two. Ask us if you are unsure what your instrument takes.
Other kits in the range
All twenty-one mechanical kits, with a table matching every Siglent analyser to the kit it needs, are on the VNA mechanical calibration kits page. Electronic calibration is covered on the calibration kits overview.
Not sure this is the right kit?
Three things decide it: your analyser’s test-port connector, your top frequency, and the gender of the cables you calibrate to. Tell us the model and we will confirm which kit fits before you order — and whether an ECal module would serve you better.
