Twenty-six gigahertz is beyond where a standard SMA connector is normally taken. Getting there needs precision parts and tighter tolerances throughout, which is what separates this cable from the 18 GHz version and what the price reflects. It is the SMA-interface cable for work approaching the top of the 3.5 mm band.

Past the usual SMA ceiling
A standard SMA interface is an 18 GHz part. This assembly is specified to 26 GHz, which requires precision construction rather than a general-purpose build.
Precision device-to-device paths
Where both ends are SMA and the frequency is high enough that an ordinary lead would add visible ripple.
Mates with 3.5 mm hardware
SMA is mechanically compatible with 3.5 mm, so this cable connects to 3.5 mm devices — with the joint limited by the SMA half.
