Siglent SHN926A – 26.5 GHz Handheld 2-Port Vector Network Analyser

€22,180.00 FREE shipping

Reaching microwave frequencies up to 26.5 GHz, the SHN926A is a rugged handheld network analyzer for demanding field work. It combines 110 dB dynamic range, full and differential S-parameters, optional spectrum analysis and TDR, plus GPS-tagged cable-antenna test and distance-to-fault — everything needed to install, verify and maintain 5G, radar and satcom systems on location. 3.2 kg.

Product overview

The SHN926A is a handheld 2-port vector network analyzer covering 30 kHz to 26.5 GHz with up to 110 dB of dynamic range and very low trace noise (0.0005 dB rms). It measures full and differential S-parameters and displays them in every standard format — Smith chart, polar, SWR, log-mag and phase.

A Cable & Antenna Test (CAT) mode with distance-to-fault, a built-in GPS and an internal bias-tee make the SHN926A ideal for installing and maintaining antenna and cable systems in the field. Multiple calibration methods, an 8.4-inch touchscreen and a hot-swappable battery keep it accurate and comfortable anywhere — just 3.2 kg.

Key highlights

30 kHz – 26.5 GHz, 2-port

Full forward and reverse S-parameter measurement in a rugged handheld.

110 dB dynamic range

High dynamic range with very low trace noise (0.0005 dB rms, 0.015° rms) for precise, repeatable results.

Cable & Antenna Test

CAT and distance-to-fault (DTF) for installing and maintaining antenna and cable systems on site.

Built-in GPS & bias-tee

GPS geotags every measurement, while the internal bias-tee feeds DC to active devices under test.

Optional SA, TDA & TDR

Add spectrum analysis, time-domain analysis and enhanced TDR with eye-diagram simulation and jitter.

8.4-inch touch, 3.2 kg

A spacious capacitive touchscreen and hot-swappable battery in a light, rugged 3.2 kg chassis.

Core capabilities

Full 2-port S-parameters

S11, S21, S12 and S22 plus differential S-parameters (Sdd, Sdc, Scd, Scc), shown as Smith chart, polar, SWR, log-mag, phase and every standard format.

Multiple calibration methods

SOLT, SOLR, TRL, response and enhanced-response calibration — compatible with many cal kits and user-defined standards for different interfaces.

Cable & Antenna Test (CAT)

Assess RF/microwave transmission systems: distance-to-fault, single-port cable loss and antenna matching, right where the system is installed.

GPS & internal bias-tee

Built-in GPS tags measurements with location; the internal bias-tee conveniently supplies DC to the device under test — no external tee.

De-embedding & conversion

Impedance conversion, fixture simulation and adapter removal/insertion move the measurement plane onto the DUT for accurate results.

High dynamic, low noise

110 dB dynamic range and very low trace noise (0.0005 dB rms) meet the need for precise, high-confidence measurement.

Highlights in detail

Multi-window display & every format

The SHN900A shows results the way you need to read them — Smith chart, polar, SWR, log-magnitude, phase, group delay and real/imaginary — across up to four independent windows at once. Each window carries its own channel, trace, format and markers, so you can watch S11 return loss on a Smith chart while S21 insertion loss runs as log-mag right beside it. Switching measurement, format or scale takes a single tap on the 8.4-inch touchscreen, and complete instrument states save and recall in one step for fast changeovers between jobs. The result is a fluid workflow that keeps every parameter you care about in view without diving through menus.

Rugged and ready for the field

Rugged and ready for the field

Despite integrating a full vector network analyzer, spectrum analysis and cable-and-antenna test, the SHN900A weighs just 3.2 kg in a rugged, protectively-cornered chassis built to travel. The spacious 8.4-inch capacitive touchscreen stays readable on site, and quick-access hard keys plus an intuitive menu structure make standardized measurements fast and repeatable — even in a hurry. Engineers can manage windows, channels and traces directly, and a custom-designed carrying bag stores the instrument and all of its accessories together for safe transport between sites. It is designed to survive the realities of installation, maintenance and commissioning work, not just the lab bench.

Ports & connectivity

Everything you need for field work sits on one rugged top panel. Two precision test ports handle the measurement, a GPS antenna input geotags every result, and an internal bias-tee feeds DC to the device under test — while trigger and 10 MHz reference inputs let you synchronise with other instruments. USB host and device ports cover storage, a mouse or keyboard and PC/SCPI control, and LAN adds full remote operation over VXI-11, Socket, Telnet and the built-in web server, powered from the hot-swappable battery or the 12 VDC input.

REQUIRED FOR VNA MEASUREMENTS

You’ll need a calibration kit

A vector network analyzer is only as accurate as its calibration. The SHN926A does not include a calibration standard — pair it with the SEM5002A ECal module or a mechanical cal kit so you can measure to a trusted reference plane, right in the field.

Siglent VNA calibration kits and ECal modules
Accuracy depends on it

A VNA measures relative to its calibration plane. Calibration removes the errors of the cables, adapters and connectors between the instrument and the device under test.

Re-done in the field

Re-calibrate whenever the cabling, frequency span, output power or temperature changes — so a good kit travels with the instrument on site.

ECal or mechanical

The one-connection SEM5002A ECal calibrates in seconds, or use SOLT, SOLR and TRL mechanical kits and user-defined standards.

Software licences & options
