Siglent FX-USB2 USB 2.0 compliance test fixture
Siglent FX-USB2 is a USB 2.0 compliance test fixture for the SDS7000A — the hardware half of SDS7000A-CT-USB2. For the SDS7000A. ( license option )
FX-USB2 — USB 2.0 compliance test fixture
USB 2.0 compliance test fixture for the SDS7000A — the hardware half of SDS7000A-CT-USB2.
A hardware test fixture: it is shipped, not emailed. The matching compliance-test software option is a separate licence on the oscilloscope.

What this fixture is for
What it is
The fixture that presents a USB 2.0 device or host to the oscilloscope at the test points the USB-IF electrical compliance specification (version 1.07) defines, for the EL_ test items run by the SDS7000A-CT-USB2 software option. A test fixture is the physical half of a compliance test. A compliance limit is defined at a specific point, into a specific impedance, with specific terminations; improvising that with probes and adapters produces numbers that cannot be compared against the standard. The fixture makes the set-up the one the specification describes. It is hardware and is shipped; the matching software option must be licensed on the oscilloscope.
What you use it for
USB 2.0 signal-quality, in-rush and droop tests are defined at the connector with specified loads; the fixture provides exactly that, so the pass/fail verdict means something.
In practice
Before booking a USB-IF compliance session, a design team runs the full EL_ suite on the bench, finds the high-speed eye marginal on one port and corrects the series resistors — turning a failed certification visit into an afternoon.
Pair it with the SDS7000A-CT-USB2 software option (sold separately). Hardware, not a licence.

Questions about FX-USB2
Is the software included?
No. The fixture is the hardware half; the matching SDS7000A-CT software option is a separate licence and must be installed on the oscilloscope for the test suite to run.
Does it work with other oscilloscopes?
Siglent specify it for the SDS7000A with the corresponding compliance-test application. The fixture itself is passive and presents standard test points, but the automated suite that uses them runs on the SDS7000A.
How is it delivered?
As hardware, shipped from the Netherlands with the invoice from the official EU distributor. Add the oscilloscope’s serial number to your order if you buy the matching software option at the same time, so that key can be issued against it.
Not sure this is the right fixture?
Send us your serial number and what you want to measure. We will confirm the exact fixture and software option before you order.
