Siglent PP215 200MHz 1X/10X attenuation oscilloscope probe
Siglent PP215 200MHz 1X/10X attenuation, 85/18pf, 1M/10Mohm, 6M/70MHz, 300V/600V, operating temperature -15 to 75 degrees probe
200 MHz passive probe, 1X / 10X
The PP215 is a switchable 1X / 10X passive probe with 200 MHz of bandwidth in the 10X position — the general-purpose probe that suits a 200 MHz oscilloscope, and the one most benches reach for by default. 200 MHz is the point where a switchable probe stops being the limiting factor on most mid-range oscilloscopes.
Standard BNC, no power and no probe bus, so it works with any oscilloscope of any brand or age. The compensation range of 10–35 pF trims correctly against essentially every instrument you will meet, and at 55 g on a 130 cm lead it is light enough to leave hanging on a test point.
Worth knowing
1X is not a free doubling of sensitivity. In the 1X position the bandwidth drops to about 6 MHz, the tip capacitance rises from roughly 20 pF to 85–120 pF, and the voltage rating halves to 150 V RMS. Use it deliberately for low-level, low-frequency signals; leave the switch on 10X for everything else.

Application examples
General digital and analogue bench work
Logic levels, clocks, control signals and supply rails — the everyday measurements that make up most of what an oscilloscope is used for.
Replacing a worn or damaged probe
A cracked tip, a stretched ground lead or a compensation trimmer that no longer holds costs you accuracy long before the probe stops working outright.
Building out channel count
Four channels need four probes, and most oscilloscopes ship exactly one per channel. A spare set means a four-channel capture is never held up.

Tell us the model and what you are measuring. Matching a probe to an instrument is usually a thirty-second answer — and buying more bandwidth than the scope can use is money wasted.
