The Siglent SNA5032A is the flagship two-port of the SNA5000A series, reaching 26.5 GHz to cover the full K-band for radar, satellite communications, automotive radar components and advanced microwave research. It delivers the family's 125 dB dynamic range, 1 Hz frequency resolution and 10 Hz–3 MHz IF bandwidth across the entire span, so demanding low-loss and high-isolation devices remain measurable right up to 26.5 GHz — with five sweep types and a −55 to +10 dBm source for precise stimulus control.
Product overview
The SNA5032A is a 2-port vector network analyzer covering 100 kHz – 26.5 GHz with up to 125 dB of dynamic range. Full S-parameters, 1 Hz frequency resolution and an IF bandwidth from 10 Hz to 3 MHz make it a precise, complete instrument for RF and microwave component and network characterisation.
Beyond magnitude-and-phase S-parameters it adds differential, receiver and time-domain (TDR/TDT) analysis, five sweep types, automatic fixture removal for de-embedding and limit / ripple testing. Built-in bias-tees and a large 12.1-inch capacitive touchscreen round out an automation-ready platform — with optional spectrum-analysis, mixer, gain-compression, pulse and material-measurement modes activated by licence.

Advanced measurement suite
The SNA5000A goes far beyond basic S-parameters — a multi-window platform that grows from a network analyzer into a full RF measurement system.

Arrange up to 25 traces across multiple windows and channels to view S-parameters, time-domain and Smith-chart formats side by side on the 12.1-inch screen.

Transform S-parameters into the time domain to locate reflections, impedance changes and discontinuities along cables, PCB traces and connectors.

Advanced time-domain reflectometry and transmission for fault location and impedance profiling of interconnects and channels, with step / impulse stimulus.

The optional SA function turns the VNA into a spectrum analyzer for harmonics, spurious, channel power and occupied bandwidth on the same instrument.

Characterise frequency-converting devices — mixers and converters — with scalar (SMM) and vector (VMM) mixer-measurement options.

The optional MT package measures the dielectric properties (permittivity / permeability) of materials directly from the S-parameters.

You’ll need a calibration kit
A vector network analyzer is only as accurate as its calibration. The SNA5032A does not include a calibration standard — pair it with an ECal module or a mechanical cal kit (rated for 26.5 GHz) so you can measure to a trusted reference plane from day one.

A VNA measures relative to its calibration plane. Calibration removes the errors of the cables, adapters and connectors between the instrument and your device — without it, S-parameter readings can’t be trusted.
You re-calibrate every time the cabling, frequency span, output power or temperature changes, so a good kit is used constantly — it is essential, not optional, for any VNA.
One-connection SEM-series ECal modules calibrate in seconds, or use precision N-type, 3.5 mm and 2.92 mm mechanical kits as reference standards.
Software licences & options
Full calibration (SOLT, SOLR, TRL, ECal), impedance conversion, fixture simulation and five sweep types are standard. These eleven licences expand the SNA5032A into spectrum, mixer, gain-compression, pulse and material measurement — all activated electronically.
